Giving in to TemptationThe Doctor looked down at the small diary sitting on the table. It was TARDIS blue and had golden designs of the TARDIS covered in rose vines. A small lock clipped the sides together. It was a simple lock the kind you could break into without the need of the sonic-screwdriver or even the key. If he just reached over and twisted it the right way
No! He couldn't do that. It was a complete invasion of privacy. He couldn't do that to Rose. He couldn't just look into her inner most thoughts
'But you've thought of it, ' a voice said in the back of his mind. 'Thought of it so many times. Every time you see the diary sitting there. Every time you see her lying there asleep. You just stand there, watching her. Seeing her chest rise and fall with every soft breath. Her rich full lips slightly parted. You see her murmur in her sleep and you beg to see the word 'Doctor' form on her lips.

Suddenly from outside there came a loud grunt and a woman's scream. Like that, the Doctor, Rose, Martha and Shakespeare were out the door and running down the steps to the commotion. Outside, the Master of the Revels who Shakespeare had named as Lynley was staggering about, coughing up copious amounts of water from nowhere.
"It's that Lynley bloke," Martha said.
"Oh my god, what's wrong with him," Rose exclaimed.
"Leave it to me, I'm a doctor," the Doctor said going over and supporting Lynley.
"So am I," Martha said going over too. "Near enough "
Suddenly with one last watery gasp Lynley groaned and collapsed to the ground. The Doctor went off, looking for something near by, Rose ran over to see if she could help. Martha bent over the body to see if there was a heartbeat.
